Underling ("we") provides an assistant that helps eBay sellers create and manage listings. Contact: hello@underling.app.
To provide the service: understand your items, write listings, post them to your eBay account when you ask (or when you have enabled auto-publish), remember your preferences, meter your usage, and support you. To keep the service safe and to detect abuse. To improve the assistant's behavior for you specifically. We do not sell your data and we do not use it for advertising.
The assistant is an artificial-intelligence system, not a person, and tells you so at the start of every session. To produce its replies, your messages, photos and rulebook are sent to third-party AI model providers who process them on our behalf under contracts that prohibit them from using your content to train their models. Some providers retain content for a limited period for safety and abuse monitoring under their own policies.
We access eBay only through eBay's official developer program and APIs, under eBay's API License Agreement. Data we receive from eBay about your account is used solely to provide the service to you. If you close your eBay account, eBay notifies us and we delete the eBay data we hold for you.
Your account data is kept while your account is active. Conversations and photos are kept so the assistant can remember your business; you can ask us to delete them at any time. Billing records are kept as long as the law requires. When you delete your account, we delete your data within 30 days except where retention is legally required.
You can access, correct, export, or delete your data by emailing hello@underling.app. You can disconnect eBay at any time from the app or from your eBay account's third-party authorizations. California and EU/UK residents have additional rights under applicable law; contact us to exercise them.
Data is encrypted in transit. eBay tokens and secrets are stored with restricted access. No system is perfectly secure; if we learn of a breach affecting you, we will notify you as required by law.
The service is for adults running a business and is not directed to anyone under 18.
