Underling is an AI assistant that helps you create, price and manage listings on eBay. It works by conversation: you send messages and photos, it drafts listings, and — when you connect your eBay account — it creates listings in your eBay account on your behalf. It is an assistant, not a person, and not a guarantee of any sales result.
You must be 18 or older and hold your own eBay seller account in good standing. You authorize us to act on your eBay account only to the extent you connect it and only for the features you use. You are responsible for your eBay account, its policies, fees, and everything listed under it. You can disconnect at any time.
Every listing the assistant creates is your listing. You are responsible for its accuracy, legality, condition description, pricing, shipping terms, and compliance with eBay's policies and applicable law — including listings the assistant publishes automatically under a limit you set. The assistant can make mistakes: it may misidentify an item, misjudge condition, or price incorrectly. Review its work, especially early, and set the auto-publish limit only as high as you are comfortable being responsible for.
Auto-publish starts locked. It unlocks in steps as you approve listings, and then you control it. A listing at or under your limit may be published without further review; listings above it wait for you. Setting or raising the limit is your instruction to publish within it. You can lower or lock it at any time, and you can end any live listing on eBay directly.
Price suggestions are estimates drawn from available data and the assistant's judgment. They are not appraisals or financial advice and can be wrong, especially for rare, serialized, graded or high-value items. Where data is thin the assistant will say so. You decide the price.
The service is prepaid. You buy a balance; the assistant's work draws it down in proportion to the computing resources each task uses. Your remaining balance is always visible in the app as a gauge. When the balance reaches zero the assistant stops until you top up. Unused balance is refundable on request within 30 days of purchase, less any usage; beta grants and promotional credits are not refundable. Prices may change with notice; changes never apply to balance already purchased.
Use the service only for lawful selling of items you are entitled to sell. Don't use it to list prohibited, counterfeit, or misdescribed items; to manipulate eBay's marketplace; to circumvent eBay's or our systems; or to extract data for other purposes. We may suspend accounts that put our eBay developer standing at risk.
You own your photos, messages and listings. You grant us the license needed to process them to provide the service, including sending them to our AI providers under contracts that prohibit training on your content. The rulebook the assistant builds about your business is yours; you can export or delete it.
This is a beta service. We will do our best to keep it running and to tell you about changes, but it may be unavailable, change, or end. eBay's API terms and availability are outside our control.
The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for lost sales, returns, fees, penalties, account actions by eBay, or any indirect or consequential loss arising from listings created with the service, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim.
You can close your account at any time by emailing us; we delete your data as described in the Privacy Policy. We may close accounts that violate these terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in San Diego County, California, unless applicable law gives you the right to another forum.
